Who We Are
Tulips institute is a forty year private college offering Business and Commercial course. It serves about 1000 students per year offering certificate offered by KNEC, City and Guilds, ABE, etc
Since 2011, enrollment management has experienced significant changes in the recruitment of students. By investing in a resident program and expanding recruitment to a national marketplace, the institute has been successful with its enrolment goals of increasing student demand, academic profile and geographical diversity. Over the past 2 years, fresh application increased over 2 fold from about 500 to almost 1000.
Success however brings challenges. National recruitment is high, competitive and unpredictable. Retention of students from secondary market continues to trail those from our primary market. Our conversion and yield statistics are changing and our efforts to enroll need-based students will become more challenging. Technology pervades the marketplace, increasing opportunities, challenges and competition. More territory colleges are reaching out to many more students and students are beginning to apply.
